Description

U.S. OFFICE OF PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT, MACON, GEORGIA ARMED SECURITY GUARD SERVICES The Office of Personnel Management, Washington, D.C. intends to conduct a competitive procurement to award a fixed price contract for Armed Security Guard services supporting the Technology Support Center in Macon, Georgia. Period of performance will include a base year, and four one (1)-year options. Estimated contract start date is October 1, 2001. The estimated number of productive man-hours per year is 9,336. The estimated number of supervisory hours per year is 1,104. An additional estimated 288 hours a year may be ordered to perform services not included by the estimated productive and supervisory hours. Award will be made to the offeror that OPM determines to offer the best value to the Government. In making our best value decision, technical factors will be more important than price. The contract will require management, supervision, manpower, patrol vehicle, equipment and supplies to perform the following duties listed below (these are not inclusive of every work request): (1) Entrance Control Post. (2) Roving Patrol Posts. (3) Traffic Control. (4) Control Issuance and Storage of Keys. (5) Security and Fire Systems. (6) Utility Systems. (7) Building Rules and Regulations. (8) Lost and Found. (9) Maintain Law and Order. (10) Unauthorized Access. (11) Hazardous Conditions. (12) Injury or Illness. (13) Flying the United States Flag. (14) Additional Duties. (15) Reports and Records. (16) Civil Disturbances. (17) Shipping and receiving. (18) Administrative Work. (19) Receive Facility Visitors. (20) Property Management. (21) New Employee Processing. (22) Alarms and Drills.
