Description

A Cell-Based SAASM Industry Working Group meeting will be held at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM, in Bldg. 810, Room C109, on July 17th, 2001 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The working group will be formed by the Cell-Based Selective Availability/Anti-Spoofing Module (SAASM) Project Team at the NAVSTAR Global Positioning System (GPS) Joint Program Office, Los Angeles AFB. The meeting is intended to facilitate a working relationship between the Government, industry, and Sandia National Laboratories (SNL). SNL is the developer of the next generation Key Data Processor (KDP). The kick-off meeting is the first in a series that involves interested parties in the development process of the new KDP. The eventual end-state of this effort will be the acquisition and production of a single-die KDP for integration into GPS military receivers.
