- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. MDA210-01-T-0355 is issued as a request for proposal. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. Contract Line Item 0001, Five-Day Executive Workshop, 7, ea. (attendees). Executive workshop consisting of the following general agenda topics: Business Strategies, Technology, User Specification & Scoping, Rich Media Interface Implementation, Wireless Technology Principles, Tools, Business Case Methodologies, Wireless User Functions, Wireless Implementation, Connectivity Technologies, Tools, External & Internal Data Needs, Connectivity to legacy applications, Oracle applications, and internet content: Options & Architecture, Implementation of Connectivity, Integration Issues, Security, Performance, Presentation Methodologies, Integration, Dry Run, and Presentation to Executives. The workshop shall provide a framework and infrastructure for rapid development of Internet Systems to implement business initiatives quickly and seamlessly using industry solutions. The workshop shall provide instruction on how to build an application, hands on building of the application, and presentation of the application to executives for a specific business opportunity that will be identified by DFAS. A working prototype of the application designed during the workshop shall be hosted and be usable by DFAS for a period of 30 days after completion of the workshop.
