Description

RFQ is for the purchase of 0001 -- NSN: 8305-00-551-2203, 3,274 yards of Cloth, Glass, Finished, for Resin Laminates, Natural (Both Sides), 38 inch width, Type V or Type V A, Class 1 in accordance with MIL-C-9084; and 0002 -- NSN: 8305-00-530-0111, 4,717 yards of Cloth, Glass, Finished, for Resin Laminates, Natural (Both Sides), 60 inch width, Type VIII B, Class 1, in accordance with MIL-C-9084. One delivery is required to New Cumberland, PA for 0001 and one delivery is required to Albany, GA for 0002. Delivery shall commence 90 days after date of award. This RFQ will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Previous award for these two items was: 0001, DLA100-83-C-0532, awarded 3/24/83, awarded to CLark Schwebel Fiber Glass, for 10,000 yards @ $2.62 per yard; and 0002, SPO100-97-C-4013 dated 4/29/97, awarded to Hexcel Corp for 66,454 yards @ $4.80 per yard.
