Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. No RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. The solicitation documents and all incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. Responses will be accepted only from qualified small businesses under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 443130, the applicable Small Business Size Standard is $5.0 million. The following items are to be procured on a firm fixed price contract basis. Delivery is required no later than August 31, 2001. The contract line items numbers and discriptions are: Item 0001: Qty 25 each Sony Mavica FD-92 Digital Camera. Item 0002: Qty 25 each Sony NP-F 550 Camera Battery. Item 0003: Qty 27 each Sony DPPSV55 Dye Sub Printer. Item 0004: Qty 54 each Sony SVM-25LS Print Packs. Item 0005: Qty 22 each Sony CCD-TRV-58 Handy Cam. Item 0006: Qty 22 each Sony NP-F-750 Camera Battery. Item 0007: Qty 25 each Sony LCS-MVC3 Camera Case. Item 0008: Qty 22 each Sony LCS-VA2 Camera Case. Item 0009: Qty 27 each Sony MSAC-PC-2 Memory Stick Adapter. Item 0010: Qty 27 each Sony MSAC-FDMA Memory Stick Adapter. Item 0011: Qty 27 each Sony MSA 64A Memory Stick. Item 0012: Qty 25 each Bogen 3405 Junior Tripod Black w/3407 Pan/Tilt (QR) Support. Brand Name of Equal products are requested. Offerors quoting equal products must provide descriptive literature to the extent necessary to allow the Government to determined the technical acceptability of the equal item. Shipping shall be FOB Destination to Sterling, VA 20166. The following provisions are applicable to this acquisition: (a) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, (b) FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, (c) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, The provision at FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Evaluation factors are (1) Technical Quality and (2) Price. Award will be made utilizing the simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13. Awardee must complete a SF-3381 ACH Vendor/Miscellaneous Payment Enrollment form, for payment via electronic funds transfer. The quoted items must include price, best delivery time and product literature that list specifications. Award will be made on an all or none basis. Quotes shall be submitted to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, 650 Massachusetts Avenue, NW Room 3290, Washington, DC 20226 no later than July 9, 2001, 3:00PM (Washington, DC local time).
