Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract is issued on a sole source basis to Trelleborg Monarch, 61 State Rt 43 N, Hartville OH 44632. They are the OEM of the wheel assemblies. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0236 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26 as well as DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 336413 and the size standard is 1000 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 94 each wheel Assembly, Rear, Trelleborg Monarch PN: 60012NAWC, in accordance with drawing 3468AS1006. CLIN 0002 94 each Wheel Assembly, Front, Trelleborg Monarch PN: 5008NAWC, in accordance with drawing 3468AS1007. Drawings can be downloaded at http://www.crane/navy/mil/supply. These parts are for the Mobile Electric Power Plant. Delivery is required F.O.B. NAVAIR SEFAC Solomons MD within 90 days after award. All items will be shipped to NAVAIR SEFAC Solomons MD. Inspection and acceptance will be at Destination. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Offers that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Contractor Establishment Code and Tax Identification Number. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
