Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) sole source contract with Simunition LTD, a Division of SNC Technologies, Inc., P.O. Box 576, Avon, CT 06001-0576. This requirement is for M4A1 Conversion Kits, M9 Conversion Kits, and M16 Conversion Kits. These conversion kits are for missions during Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT). The quantity required for the M4A1 Conversion Kits is a minimum of 250 each, with a maximum quantity which is undetermined at this time. For the M9 Conversion Kits, the minimum required quantity is 20 each, with a maximum quantity which is undetermined at this time. Additionally, there is also a potential option for an undetermined quantity of M16 Conversion Kits. This action is in support of the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory Project Metropolis. Simunition is the only known supplier of the M4A1, M9, and M16 Conversion Kits. No solicitation document exists for this effort. Interested parties may submit a written statement of capability for satisfying this requirement to the name and address identified above within 15 days no later than 6 June 2001.
