Description

Pre-solicitation Notice: the work includes design development and building of a 3230 SM complex of new masonry and concrete, metal studs and light steel frame buildings for bachelor enlisted quarters, including a core services building, sidewalks, parking facilities, landscaping, roads and utilities. The facility shall comply with TI-802-04, Seismic Design for Buildings, Dec 1998. Contract completion time is 620 calendar days. The estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This procurement is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 233320 and the related small business size standard is $27,500,000. The contract will be awarded to the firm providing the proposal with the best value to the Government using criteria outlined in the solicitation. THE GOVERNMENT WILL ISSUE THIS SOLICITATION THROUGH THE INTERNET. The solicitation will not be directly provided in a paper hard copy format nor by CD. Notification of any changes to this solicitation will be made only on the Internet site. It is, therefore, the contractor's responsibility to check the below listed Internet site daily for any posted changes to this solicitation which will be available on or about 13 July 2001.
