Description

The work of this contract includes furnishing labor, equipment and material for crane rehabilitation, which consists of replacing five cranes and rehabilitation of one crane at the Brentwood Facility, Major Repair Shop located at 601 T Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. The estimated cost range is $500,000 to $1,000,000. The period of performance for this construction contract will be 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. A bid guarantee, in the amount of 5% of the bid price, is required with the bid greater than $100,000. The successful bidder must provide a Payment and a Performance Bond after award of the contract when the bid price is $100,000 or more. An insurance certificate with Worker's Compensation (Statutory), Employer's Liability ($500,000), Commercial General Liability ($1,000,000) and Automobile Liability ($1,000,000) coverages will also be required of the successful bidder. The contractor will be required to pay wages which are not less than those established by Davis-Bacon Wage Determination Decision contained in the solicitation.
