Description

Under this contract, the Supplier will establish and operate a Travel Management Center or Centers (TMC) for the US Postal Service, providing comprehensive nationwide travel services to postal employees, from anywhere in the United States including Alaska, Hawaii, and the US territories or commonwealths. The Supplier shall provide complete and comprehensive travel services which shall include providing information, making and canceling reservations and issuing and canceling tickets for any type of travel transportation, lodging, car rental and other related travel services required by the Postal Service employees for official travel. Under this contract, the Postal Service may use FedTrip or similar program to allow its employees to self-book their travel plans. FedTrip is sponsored by the Department of Transportation and the use of FedTrip is available for government agencies. The Supplier must be able to fulfill and provide the travel arrangements and tickets from the reservations that have been generated by the postal employee?s use of FedTrip or similar program. The Postal Service desires that most postal employees will make their reservations via the self-booking process.=20
