- Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the 21st SOPS Contracting Office at Onizuka Air Force Station, CA intends to extend its current Civil Engineering Services contract (F04689-96-C-0001), with Raytheon Systems Company (RSC) for a period not to exceed four months beginning 01 October 2001 and following month-to-month through 31 January 2002. Program and personnel changes have delayed the contract award of a follow-on contract, Civil Engineering and Base Maintenance Services (FA2550-00-R-0007) to 01 December 2001. The contract extension will cover the major functions of operations and maintenance, engineering, environmental management, resource management, and program management performed at Onizuka Air Force Station, Sunnyvale CA, Camp parks Communications Annex, Dublin CA, and Air Force permitted facilities at Moffett Federal Airfield, Mountain View CA. The estimated price range for the extension is between $1.5 and $3 million. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. However, the Government will consider all documentation received within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of first publication of this synopsis. Interested concerns should submit documentation demonstrating the following qualifications: (1) Personnel on site must possess a favorable personnel security investigation under DOD National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual. (2) Personnel must have experience in operations and maintenance, engineering, environmental management, resource management and program management on a major government/industrial complex. (3) Personnel must have current and in-depth knowledge of the facilities and be familiar with the job-site environment (No phase-in will be allowed). Limit any submission to ten (10) pages or less. A determination by the Government not to compete this as a proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received will be reviewed solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any requests for a copy of a solicitation will not be honored and the Government is under no obligation to respond to those requests.
