Description

The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) acquires single-family homes (1-4 units) either through foreclosure or transfer to the Department through a deed in lieu of foreclosure. These properties are appraised and sold as-is. Periodically, a more comprehensive inspection is required. Therefore, The purpose of this contract is to obtain services of a Structural Analyst with technical expertise in determining the structural soundness of the property, provide a cost analysis to HUD with recommendations regarding needed repairs to bring the property in line with the Minimum Property Requirements (MPR) compliance or if property should be demolished. The properties are located in the vicinity of the City of Chicago, Illinois. The Structural Analyst may perform a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 100 inspections during the term of the contract.
