Description

The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, CA intends to negotiate and award a contract for Repair and Maintenance services on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302 to KLA-TENCOR, Inc., 160 Rio Robles, San Jose, CA. The proposed contract shall be for a One-Year Base Period and Four, One-Year Option Periods. This action is based on the incumbent's requisite combination of proprietary rights, corporate resources, highly specialized technical capabilities and fundamental expertise of the current KLA-TENCOR equipment. See Note 22.
