- Description
- This announcement constitutes a Request for Information synopsis and Market Survey to locate potential sources for the following hydraulic testing equipment. It does not constitute an invitation for sealed bids or a request for proposal nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. In response to this market survey, interested parties should provide literature, equipment specifications, and/or brochures on current capabilities and efforts. Proprietary information should be properly identified. Upon review of the submitted material, the Government may request oral presentations from the contractor(s) for information exchange. Your submission should include company name, address, a point of contact, phone number, fax number, and if possible your email address. The hydraulic test stand will be used on the following aircraft: HU-25 Falcon Jet, HC-130, HH-60 and HH-65A helicopters. Hydraulic Test Stand Requirements: 40 gpm @ 3000psi; 15 gpm @ 4500psi; Must handle instantaneous flow change demands of 3 gpm to 25 gpm and back while maintaining set pressure; System relief valve remotely adjustable from 2250 to max operating pressure, Inlet and outlet filtration of 5 microns nominal, 15 microns absolute; Flow meters of 0-40 gpm oil in, and 0-8 gpm case drain circuit; Return and case drain pressure gauges; Oil temperature regulation up to 180* F; Patch filters in the return and case drain circuits (easy access); Rigid stainless steel plumbing; 1 cycling valve port set-up; Pressure ports should have electrically operated start/shut-off valves; Manual bypass dump valve; Manual flow adjustment from 0 to 40 gpm; Static pressure system (air operated oil intensifier for static pressures up to 10,000psi); Unit designed for testing of all components and pumps/motors; Hydraulic pump drive unit capable of 3000 rpm to 12,000 rpm with adequate back pressure regulation; contractor shall provide setup and training at the delivered location. A small business set-aside is being considered, however, we encourage large business participation at this time. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought.
