- Description
- This is a Market Survey to identify potential sources for the sale or exchange of AH-1 aircraft. The Scout/Attack Helicopter Product Office at AMCOM is exploring possibilities for the sale or exchange of AH-1 aircraft and aircraft parts in accordance with the sale or exchange authority contained in 40 U.S.C. Section 481 and 41 C.F.R. Part 101-46. Aircraft will be the F Model, NSN 1520-01-168-4260. Aircraft would likely be staged at one location and be offered for competitive sale. Consideration for the sale/exchange of aircraft may be in the form of cash, or other aircraft. Consideration for aircraft parts may be in the form of cash or other aircraft parts or hardware falling within the same Federal Supply Classification Group. Other proposals for consideration from prospective offerors may also be considered. The winning offeror would be responsible for making all arrangements to transport aircraft from the staging site at their expense immediately after title to aircraft transfers. This is a sources sought synopsis only. It does not constitute a solicitation or RFP. It in no way obligates the U.S. Government to any definitive course of action with respect to the sale or exchange of aircraft. The U.S. Government is not liable for any proposal costs associated with responses to this sources sought synopsis. Any response to this synopsis must include specific detailed documentation/information on what is being included as consideration for the sale and/or exchange of aircraft, and should include the name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address of a point of contact having authority and knowledge to discuss responses with government representatives.
