Description

WA PRA-OLYM 102(4), FINLEY CREEK DETOUR BRIDGE, Olympic National Park, Greys Harbor county, Washington. Initial Notice posted to CBDNet on June 7, 2001 and the printed issue date on June 12, 2001. BY ISSUE OF THIS MODIFICATION, WE ANNOUNCE THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS (FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION). Presolicitation notices are being sent to firms on this agency's mailing list concurrently with the publication of this synopsis. This project consists of 0.049 km of construction and installation of a temporary detour bridge (Bailey-type). The bridge is Government furnished. Project includes: construction survey & staking; construction schedules; one detour bridge (Bailey-type); 200 m soil erosion control devices; removal of one 50 m bridge; 10 cu m structure excavation; 10 cu m gabions & revet mattresses; 20 cu m minor crushed aggregate; and other smaller items of work. Project is located approximately 18 km NE of Amanda Park, Washington. Work shall be completed by November 1, 2001. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The following applies only to Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs): The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance, and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at prime rate.
