Description

Furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision to manage and perform all operations for collection and off-post disposal of all residential solid waste, the collection of recyclable materials from residential housing areas, the collection of yard waste generated in residential housing areas, the collection and off-post disposal of solid waste collected by Government and Contractor personnel at Fort Rucker, AL. This service covers 1516 residential units in Family Housing, 50 trailers at the Post Trailer Park, 8 cottages at Lake Tholocco, 16 cantonment locatons and 100 playgrounds. The contract period is 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002 with four option years. This requirement is synopsized as UNRESTRICTED, Full and Open Competition. Each bidder must submit with his bid, a Bid Bond/Bid Guarantee (Standard Form 24) with good and sufficient surety or surties acceptable to the Government or other security in the form of twenty percent (20%) of the bid price or $3,000,000.00 whichever is lesser. Additionally, the bidder to whom award is made shall submit within 10 days after award, a Performance Bond (Standard Form 1418) and a Payment Bond (Standard Form 1416). The penal sum of such bonds shall be one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract price for both types of bonds.
