- Description
- Provide a Contractor Operated Civil Engineer Supply Store (COCESS) for Eglin AFB, FL. The contractor shall supply all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, supplies and materials, to support a COCESS located at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida to include outlying areas of Duke Field, Army Ranger Camp, and remote sites on Okaloosa Island. The contractor shall acquire, issue, deliver, and store a variety of material, equipment, parts, supplies for construction, home repair, facility maintenance, and repair for use by authorized Government personnel and family housing personnel. Period of performance is 17 Sep 01 -- 30 Sep 03 with 3 one year option periods. = There is the possibility of 3 one-year award term years. The government anticipates award of a firm fixed price type contract with one reimburseable contract line item. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. This will be a 100% small business set-aside utilizing North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 421390 with a size standard of 500 employees. Proposed issue date is on or about 20 Jun 01. The solicitation will not be distributed in hard copy. Potential offerors may download the solicitation on or about 20 Jun 00 from the following = web site: http://www.eps.gov. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsmand does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Matters of a routine or administrative nature concerning this acquisition should not be addressed to the Ombudsman but rather to the Contracting Officer, Contract Specialist, or the Program Manager identified above.
