Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial service. This announcement constitutes a synopsis only. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set Aside. The solicitation document will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The NAICS code for this project is 811219 (annual income of 5.0 million or less). The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, parts and transportation required to maintain and repair government owned transmission electron microscope by Philips (model 400) at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, West Los Angeles facility. The intended contract will be for a base period of one year with the government's option to extend the contract in one-year increments for four (4) one-year option periods. The solicitation issue date will be on or about 29 June 2001 with proposals due on or about 30 July 2001 (2:00PM).
