- Description
- This solicitation is issued as unrestricted under NAICS 336412. The contractor is required to pick up module at Houston AASF, Building 1183, Ellington Field, Houston, Texas and return to the same location. The contractor is to completely disassemble, clean and evaluate for the cost to repair the following five (5) Power Turbine Modules: GE-L-004646, GE-L-004564, GE-L-004131, GE-L-004633, GE-L-004173 from AH64A Helicopter Engines, Technical Manual TM1-2840-248-23. Contractor will be responsible for supplying shipping containers for transport of the modules to and from contractor's facility. Upon completion of the evaluation for repair the contractor is to provide an itemized quote for repair to the contract issuing office in the following format: Labor Hours X Labor Rate (prevailing wage rates are applicable), Itemized list of Repair Parts (the Agency reserves the right to provide any listed parts to the contractor to use in the repair), include a Technical Statement of Discovery and work to be performed. The time allocated to offer a repair quote is 30 days from date of receipt of modules. If the Unit does not want to have the modules repaired the contractor will reassemble and return to AAFS, Houston, Texas. Work shall be performed in accordance with DMWR 55-2840-248-1/2. The Contractor performing the repair must warrant that they are a "FAA Turbine Engine Repair Facility". No repairs to the modules will be performed until the Government is provided a quote to repair and the Agency has issued a "Notice to Proceed".
