Description

Notice of intent to issue a draft request for proposal (RFP) for Global Enterprise Management Support (GEMS). The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), is requesting review and comments on a draft RFP scheduled for release on or near 16 Jul 2001. Comments will be considered for incorporation into a final RFP planned for release in late August/early September 2001. The draft RFP will be placed on the DITCO Contracting Opportunities Home Page at https://www.ditco.disa.mil/dcop/Public/ASP/dcop.asp. All comments and suggested changes must be submitted by a date to be established within the draft RFP. GEMS is required in order to provide high quality Program Management support for DISA (to include support of the Global Information Grid (GIG)), as well as for the Department of Defense (DoD) and other Federal agencies. Contracts resulting from this RFP will be Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ). The anticipated period of performance is six (6) years (2-year base period and 4 one-year option periods). Awards will be limited to small businesses only (100% Small Business Set-Aside); the Government also reserves the right to further reserve awards for both qualified HUBZone and 8(a) participant businesses. NAICS code 541512 (Computer Design Services/$18M) applies.
