Description

The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery and Indefinite Quantity contract. This is going to be a 100% Local Small Business Set Aside. The Contractor shall provide tool, materials, equipment and supplies to include but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, refrigeration, air conditioning, kitchen, water and boiler plant type items. The period of performance is expected to include a base period with four option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 444190. The applicable size standard is 500 employees for purposes of Government procurement of supplies. There is a Preproposal meeting on the DRAFT Solicitation that will be held at the Community Service Center (CSC), Bldg 2494 Ricker Road, Fort Bliss, Texas at 0900 hrs, on 12 July 2001. All interested contractors wanting to receive a copy of the DRAFT Solicitation need to send a "Letter of Request" for a copy, prior to 2 July 2001 to the address above. The Letter of Request should include the name and address of your firm, point of contact(s), including telephone number, and business size. Please state on the letter if you will or will not be attending the meeting on 12 July 2001. There is no charge for the draft copy but all interested contractors will have to re-submit a "Letter of Request" for the FINAL Solicitation and a charge will be assessed.
