Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation, number 41702-008. (iii)The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-26. (iv)This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 315225 and the size standard is 500 employees. (v)Item 1:Khaki winter parkas, size x-large, 600 each. Item 2:Khaki winter parkas, size 2x-large, 400 each. (vi)Water repellant heavy cotton blend (65% polyesther/35%cotton) shell, machine washable, drawstring waist, inside knit wrists & 4 pockets, snap fly front over a heavy duty zipper, 36" length. (vii)Delivery no later than 24 August 2001, destination pricing, deliver to the Federal Correctional Institution, Milan, Michigan, 48160. (viii)Provision 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (ix)Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Provision 52.214-20, Bid Samples Alternate II, applies to this acquisition. Award will be based on Price, Past Performance and the quality of the Bid Samples. The bid samples must meet at a minimum the specifications stated above.
