Description

Solicitation Number N00421-01-Q-0400 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Vertex RSI/TriPoint Global 4825 River Green Parkway, Duluth, Georgia 30096 for the items listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Vertex RSI/TriPoint Global is the only manufacturer that meets the required air trasportable and self contained specifications. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 33422, size standard is 750 employees. The contract line item number and description is: CLIN 0001 CNN Deployable TV Receive Only Terminal, (Qty 2 each); CLIN 0002 System Documentation CDRL A001, (Qty 2 each). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 03 July 2001 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to complete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
