Description

We are issuing a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6 for base refuse collection and disposal services. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment required to collect and dispose of refuse in the housing areas, playgrounds, neighborhood park, front gate and credit union and all incidental related work as authorized by the Contracting Officer. The contract duration is one base year with four option years. The NAICS code is 562111 with size standard of $10 MILLION. Contract period is 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002 with four additional one year option periods renewable each year for a total of five (5) years. This acquisition is subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and therefore unrestricted. The entire solicitation will be released solely on the internet by Electronic Solicitation at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil or http://www.eps.gov (paper copies will not be available). The IFB will be available ON OR ABOUT 10 JULY 2001. Locate the solicitation number N44255-01-B-7017 and follow the instructions for downloading.
