Description
The Office of Policy and Research of the Pension and Welfare Benefits Administration, U.S. Department of Labor solicits proposals for research projects concerning private employment-based pension, health and other benefits. To be eligible, proposed projects must relate to employee benefits programs or related public policy and cost $25,000.00 or less. Projects must not involve original survey data collection. Proposals should be for new research, rather than research already in progress. Higher priority will be given to projects that ae more technically sound, cost effective and national in scope, closely related to DOL's responsibilities and current policy issues under Title I of ERISA, and scheduled to be completed within one year. Proposals received after July 27, 2001 will not be considered under this requests for proposals. This program is designated for a 50 percent small business set-aside. Requests for solicitation SP-00-01 should be in writing. No phone calls please. Closing date of RFQ is July 6, 2001.
