Description

Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and transportation necessary to perform all work required for Project 558-01-101, Replace AHU #3 at the VA Medical Center, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705. Work includes providing for the replacement of a 26,000 cfm rooftop air handling unit, replacing all 134 induction /VAV boxes served by the unit with pressure independent VAV boxes, replacing all associated piping, ductowrk, and controls, and miscellaneous general construction, demolition, and electrical work. All work is to be in strict accordance with all applicable codes, the contract drawings and specifications. Estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Bidding material will be available on or about 6/29/01. A non-refundable fee of $50.00 per set, in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
