Description

Background "The lease agreement F33657-00-L-2039 for Air Force Plant (AFP) 42, Sites 2, 7 & 8 awarded to Lockheed-Martin, by the USAF/AFMC Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), is a sole source follow-on contractual action to provide for operation and maintenance, environmental compliance, pollution prevention, and Capital Type Rehabilitation (CTR) projects on a cost reimbursement basis. Work is performed at Air Force Plant 42, Sites 2, 7 & 8, a Government owned, Contractor operated (GOCO) industrial facility operated by Lockheed-Martin. The only purpose of the ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his concern during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
