Description

Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, appliance, and materials and perform all operations necessary in connection with Project FBNV 00-0025-2, Repair Runway Landing Area 30 End at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Remove and replace 15 inch plus/minus depth concrete paving on the runway, construct temporary displaced threshold, place new barrier inlay, remove/replace joint seals, and re-stripe the runway. All work shall be as specified in Project Specifications FBNV 00-0025-2 and = Addendum 1, and shown on drawings number R6-52 and R6-53 dated 21 May 01. A firm fixed price contract award is contemplated. The estimated project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000.000. This is an unrestricted procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 23411 with a small business size standard of $27,500,000. The successful contractor will be selected using Past Performance Trade Off (PPTO) procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is significantly more = important than price. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 26 June 01 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available. Upon issuance of the solicitation, the drawings for this project will be available upon request from the 355th Contracting Squadron points of contact identified below. Notification of the site visit will be posted separately on this website. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
