Description

This is a notice of intent. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex intends to modify a sole source contract with Chem-Nuclear Systems, LLC through 30 June 2002 under the indefinite delivery/requirements type contract for transportation and disposal of radioactive solid waste at the Barnwell Facility in South Carolina under other than full and open competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. The cost of extending these services for up to one year is estimated at $1,000,000.00.
