- QUOTES ARE DUE ON OR BEFORE JULY 2, 2001, 1600 COB EASTERN STANDARD TIME. This is a synopsis for ship repair under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-01-Q-3FAH62. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. The requirement: Contractor is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, services and competence to complete Dockside repairs to USCGC MACKINAW (WAGB-83), 290' icebreaker. Homepier: Cheboygan, MI. Work Items: 1. Clean and Inspect = Main Diesel Engine, Ship Service Generator and Boiler Exhaust Ducts, 2. Modify Fuel Oil Service Piping to Main Diesel Engines, 3. Replace Fuel Oil Flexible Piping With Hard Piping, 4. Inspect and Test Air Receivers and Relief Valves, 5. Modify Small Boat and RHI Hydraulic Piping, 6. Renew Berthing Deck Covering System, 7.Travel and Per Diem. Performance Period: 33 calendar days commencing Aug 6th (Aug. 6 thru Sept. 7, 2001).
