- SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a sources sought synopsis and request for information for transient alert services, only to determine industry interest and capability. The project will consists of a 6-month contract with one 3-month option based on results of an OMB (Office of Management & Budget) Circular A-76 Study. The fixed-price contract in place at the present time will expire 30 Sep 01. Contractors are asked to submit capability statements expressing their interest. Capability statements should include past performance information similar in scope to this initiative, references with phone numbers, the business size, point of contact and any other pertinent information. A letter stating your interest or requesting a copy of the statement of work is not sufficient to determine contractor capability. =20 SCOPE OF WORK ? GENERAL: The contractor shall be required to furnish all personnel and labor to provide services to recover, park, service, coordinate for the repair of, and launch transient aircraft at Maxwell AFB AL, seven days a week. Hours of operation are 0600 hours till 2200 = hours, Monday through Friday, and 0800 hours till 2000 hours, Saturday and Sunday. Also, covers maintenance of ground support equipment five days per week, Monday through Friday, and emergency situation response as required. Services to recover, park, service, coordinate for the repair of, and launch transient aircraft at Dannelly Field Municipal Airport, Montgomery AL, as required. This will be a fixed-priced contract. . Performance period for this contract shall begin 1 Oct 01 = and end 30 Mar 02 (unless 3-month option period is exercised). There is no potential for a follow-on contract after the performance period ends. The contract will be 100% set-aside for small business. A solicitation is not presently available.=20 Please consider all factors when submitting an interest, such as, start-up costs and other significant financial impacts.
