Description

Manufacturing services of the Monchrome Display Monitor for the Pioneer Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). The Pioneer UAV Program currently supports the Navy and Marine Corps by providing logistics support to the fleet users. There is a current requirement for manufacturing services of the Monchrome Display Monitor. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis with Conrac Systems, Inc., 12801 Schabarum Avenue, Irwindale, CA 91706. Conrac Systems, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer and owns the proprietary data rights to this monitor. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contract will be awarded using written quotation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is 27 June 2001. See Note 26.
