Description

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) European Procurement Office anticipates issuance of a competitive solicitation for Desktop and Laptop computer components to be used in a Computer Service and Repair course, which will be held in Department of Defense Dependents Schools both in Europe and in the Pacific. The parts that are required include: an Inwin A500 ATX Mid Tower Case, a Chaintech 6AJM4 Motherboard, an Intel Pentium III 600EB 133 MHZ system bus Flip Chip, a GEM SVGA 17" Color Monitor, a Mitsumi 1.44MB Floppy Drive, a Western Digital 20GB Hard Drive, and other hardware components. In addition, the Government requires a number of defective parts, which will be used by students to practice repair procedures. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements type contract resulting from solicitation MDA412-01-R-0024. The anticipated contract performance period is a basic period of one year plus one one-year option period.
