- Description
- Sources Sought, Request for Information Description The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC-SD) is seeking vendors to provide infrared camera systems for long-range surveillance projects. The desired camera system, at a minimum, must meet the minimum requirements specified in the table 1. This is a request for information (RFI) and no contract will be awarded pursuant to this announcement. There is no bid package or solicitation document associated with this announcement. This RFI is for planning purposes and to provide SSC-SD with sufficient information and data to understand whom in the open market can provide camera system(s) with the desired minimum requirements. This RFI does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement will be issued. However, SSC-SD and the Navy will utilize the information for technical and acquisition planning. Subsequent acquisitions may follow, in the ways, which best meet Navy needs. The government invites comments and interested parties to submit their indication of interest, along with any documentation deemed necessary. All data received in response to this RFI marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the government. It is not the intent of SSC-SD to reimburse providers for submitting information in response to this RFI.
