Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) has a requirement for screening, refurbishment, and conversion of the AN/SPQ-98 Radar System Transmitter Unit and its components. This requirement includes: Line Item 0001, Evaluation of GFE APG-68 transmitter units, 0 (min) 35 (max) each; Line Item 0002, Refurbishment of GFE APG-68 to baseline configuration, 5 (min) 35 (max) each; Line Item 0003, Conversion of GFE APG-68 transmitter units to AN/SPQ-9B transmitter units, 5 (min) 35 (max) each; Line Item 0004, Data, 1 lot. Solicitation N00164-01-R-0108 will be issued on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends negotiating with only one source, Northrop Grumman Corporation, Electronic Sensors and Systems Division, P.O. Box 746, Baltimore, MD 21203. The Government does not own the data rights in the drawings for the system or the test equipment and procedures that would enable them to compete the procurement and ensure that the refurbished/modified item would integrate back into the AN/ALQ-99 system. Delivery is required FOB Destination NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane, IN. Inspection and acceptance will be performed at source. The first Line Item is required within 90 days after award of the first delivery order. This solicitation will be available on or about 29 June 2001 at the following WWW address: http://www.crane.navy.mil.supply. Closing date is 30 July 2001.
