Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA 93042-5001 plans to procure on an other than full and open competition basis from Northrop Grumman Corporation, 17066 Goldentop Road, San Diego, CA 92127, replacement and initial outfitting parts in support of the BQM-34S Aerial Target Program. This is pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source. The intended contract will be firm fixed price. Parts to be procured include: (3 each) Aileron Assembly, part number 124C301; (2 each) Elevator Actuator, part number 124E1016-3; (2 each) Aileron Actuator, part number 124E1017-3; (2 each) Rudder Actuator, part number 124E1018-3; (10 each) Harness, part number 124E388-5; (10 each) Cable Assembly, part number 124E340-1; (10 each) Cable Assembly, part number 124E345-1; (10 each) Cable Assembly, part number 124E355-3; (3 each) Nacelle, part number 124N398-5; (4 each) Fuel Pump, part number 61P238-3; (4 each) GPS Antenna, part number 380E2020-1; (4 each) Pressure Transducer, Static, part number 380E2021-1; (4 each) Pressure Transducer, Total, part number 380E2021-3; (10 each) RF Cable, GPS, part number 380E2022-3; (3 each) DFCC A2 Circuit Board, part number 380E2130-1; (3 each) DFCC A2 Circuit Board, part number 380E2140-1; (3 each) DFCC A2 Circuit Board, part number 380E2150-1; (3 each) DFCC A2 Circuit Board, part number 380E2160-1; (3 each) DFCC A2 Circuit Board, part number 380E2180-1; and (3 each) DFCC A2 Circuit Board, part number 380E2190-1. The government has not acquired sufficient technical data in the form of detailed technical drawings to allow for a competitive procurement of these parts. Northrop Grumman is the only source with the prerequisite data, in the form of detailed technical drawings, to produce the parts with the form, fit and function required for the BQM-34S Aerial Target. . Contract award is estimated to be 25 August 2001. All parts are to be delivered within twelve (12) months after date of contract.
