Description

Medical Transcription Service -- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, University and Woodland Avenues, Philadelphia, PA 19104, has a requirement for Medical Transcription Service. The contractor shall provide transcription services with twenty-four hour coverage, seven days per week. The contractor shall furnish all space, personnel, supervision and equipment required for transcribing all Discharge Summaries, Operation Reports, C&P Exams and Addendums in accord with all specifications, schedules, terms and conditions of the contract. Equipment includes but is not limited to hardware, software, utilities, tools, telephone lines and materials necessary to perform the required services. The contractor shall provide transcription and/or dictation services using a remote, centralized (digital) system and have the capability to down load in the VA DHCP System via PSI Link. The NAICS (North American Industry Classifications System) code is 561499. The contract period shall be for one (1)year (base year) with four (4) one year Government options to extend. This procurement is being conducted utilizing Simplified Acquistion Procedures in accordance with format defined in FAR 12.203 and procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15. Solicitation packages will be available tentatively on 6-22-01. The bid opening date will be 7-24-01. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL BE ACCEPTED. All requests must be in writing.
