Description

The U. S. Department of Agriculture, Region 6, Olympic National Forest, Olympia, WA is issuing a Request for Proposal for Prefabricated Modular Bridge Structures on the Pacific and Hood Canal Ranger districts. This project includes designing, fabricating, and delivering to each of three project sites a six-piece, portable modular bridge superstructure complete with bridge railing, elastomeric bearing pads, and treated timber back walls. It is the Contractor's responsibility to visit each bridge delivery site and to assess/include in their bid any equipment needed to assist in turning delivery trucks around and the size/type of delivery truck needed to traverse the access route. This solicitation will be issued as a Commercial Items Request for Proposal in accordance with FAR Part 12 procedures. The acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 234120 with a size standard of $27.5M. Solicitation #R6-OLY-1-14-O will be issued on or about June 27, 2001, with proposals to be received July 12, 2001. Delivery must be made within 216 days after receipt of Notice of Award.
