- Description
- Purpose of this project is to identify, record, evaluate for National Register eligibility, and assess the effects on all heritage resources that could be affected by the proposed prescribed burn. The data derived from this inventory/site evaluation project will be used to facilitate Section 106 compliance for the prescribed burn. Contractor will conduct a literature review, conduct an intensive inventory of 1700 acres of pre-determined areas, record, evaluate and assess the effects of the project on all newly and previously recorded heritage resources, document all cultural resource information on the appropriate Colorado State Historic preservatin Office. Project is located on the Mancos-Dolores Ranger District, Montezuma and Dolores Counties, CO, San Juan National Forest. Contract time is 365 calendar days. All responsible sources will be considered by the agency.
