Description

The contractor (established blood donor center or equivalent) shall furnish and deliver, in a timely fashion, blood and blood products for Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) located in Montgomery and Tuskegee, AL. Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract for a period of one year from date of award, on/about 7/1/01. Solicitation will be issued on/about 6/15/01. Quotations will be due on/about 6/25/01. Only written requests for the solicitation will be accepted and may be faxed to 334-260-4105, att: David Berry (90C). No phone requests will be honored. The VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
