Description

The work shall consist of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, = and materials to install bypass switchgear, related wiring, and = miscellaneous items as required at Housing Substation, McChord AFB, = WA. The contractor is responsible for accomplishing all items of work = in accordance with the applicable drawings, specifications, and = provisions of the contract. Any sundry labor, materials, equipment = and/or appurtences not specifically detailed or specified, but required = to complete the project, shall be provided as an integral part of the = scope of work hereinafter specified. The magnitude of construction is = between $25,000 and $100,000. The applicable NAICS code is 235310 (SIC = 1731) with a size standard of annual average revenue of $11,500,000 = over three years. In conformance with FAR 19.300 this acquisition is = being considered for a Hubzone set-aside. If your firm is Hubzone = certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, please provide = the following information to the Contracting Officer not later than ten = (10) days after the publication of this notice: (1) SBA certification = of Hubzone eligibility, (2) capability statement of your firm and, (3) = a positive statement that your firm intends to propose on this = acquisition. Based upon this response, the Contracting Officer will = make a determination if there is a reasonable expectation of adequate = competition for award or to proceed with full and open competition = procedure. The period of performance is 120 calendar days. The = solicitation will be only available on Federal Business Opportunities = Web Site at www.eps.gov web site. This solicitation will be issued = under full and open competition procedures on or about 22 June May = 2001. The proposal due date is on or about 23 July 2001, 4:00pm local = time.
