Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The work includes furnishing all labor, = tools, equipment and materials to renovate the galley, including the = addition of a new vestibule and extending loading area. The partial = replacement of kitchen equipment, upgrading galley HVAC System and = exhaust system with related electrical. In addition, replace = acoustical ceiling system and repaint Mess Hall. This work is located = at USCG Station Fort Myers, Florida. Request for a bid package must be = submitted in writing. There will be a $20.00 charge for the = solicitation package and drawings. All checks should be made payable = to the U. S. Coast Guard. This action is being considered for 100 = percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Interested = HUBZone small business concerns should indicate their interest to the = Contract Specialist, in writing, as early as possible but to be = received not later than 15 calendar days of this notice. As a minimum, = the following information is required: (a) copy of the certificate = issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern, (b) a = positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this = solicitation as a prime contractor, (c) evidence of experience in = work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project = titles, dollar amounts, and points of contacts and telephone numbers = and (d) provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum = magnitude of the project, to include both single and aggregate totals. = All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision = to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to = submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being = considered as an interested HUBZone concern. If adequate interest is = not received from HUBZone concerns by close of business 15 calendar = days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued on = an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies are = requested from large and small business concerns, as well as from = HUBZone concerns. The estimated dollar value of this project is = between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The North American Industry = Classification System (NAICS) code is 235110 with a three-year average = annual receipts of $11.5 million. Bid quarantee, payment and = performance bonds are required. It is anticipated that the = solicitation package will be available in July 2001. Contract = performance time will be ninety (90) calendar days.
