Description

This project consists of reconditioning approximately 7.81 km of road, furnishing, hauling and placing crushed aggregate on the traveled way including turnouts, pullouts, parking areas, and approach road intersections, stockpiling crushed aggregate, pit development and seeding and fertilizing. The project is located on Road 6209 on Mitkof Island, Southeast Alaska approximately 11 km south of Petersburg, Alaska. The estimated price range for the project is $100,000 to $250,000. The contract time is 90 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be posted to the Tongass National Forest Internet Homepage on or about June 28, 2001 for viewing and printing. Follow the link to Current Contract Information.
