Description

This project consists of construction of improvements to the Man Made Hole Picnic Area including construction of a stream bank revetment for fisheries enhancement, a covered picnic shelter, three pedestrian bridges, and minor trail construction and excavation. The Man Made Hole Picnic Area is located at milepost 20.1 on the Mitkof Highway, Mitkof Island, Southeast Alaska. The estimated price range for the project is $100,000 to $250,000. The contract time is 365 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be posted to the Tongass National Forest Internet Homepage on or about June 28, 2001 for viewing and printing. Follow the link to Current Contract Information. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation by way of the Internet if possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254.
