Description

This project consists of placement of aggregate, surface rock reduction, compaction, installation of culverts, reconstruction of ditches and ditch dams, and reconditioning of existing road including shaping and crowning. The project is located at Deep Bay on Zarembo Island, Southeast Alaska. The project begins at Deep Bay and continues to the junction of road 6593 approximately 6.6 km southwest of Deep Bay. The estimated price range for the project is $250,000 to $500,000. The contract time is 200 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will be posted to the Tongass National Forest Internet Homepage on or about June 25, 2001 for viewing and printing. Follow the link to Current Contract Information.
