Peterson 8/9/01 Peterson AFB will be hosting their Summer Technology Exposition on Thursday, August 9, 2001. It is home to the 21st Space Wing, the only Air Force organization responsible for worldwide missile warning and space control. The men and women of the 21st Space Wing, Team 21, work throughout the Colorado Springs area in what is known as Peterson Complex- Peterson AFB, Schriever AFB, and Cheyenne Mountain Air Station-as well as 25 locations in 9 countries around the world. The event will be promoted to the 21st Space Wing, HOAFSPC, USSPACECOM, NORAD, Peterson AFB, US. Air Force Academy, Schriever AFB. Requested Technologies are: Workstations, Laptops, LANs, Communications/Networks Software, Wide Area Networks, TCP/IP, Ethernet, Client/Server Connections, Laser Printers, Color Printers, Color Monitors, Video Display Terminals, Graphics Terminals, Hard Disk Drives, Storage Devices, Tape Backup Systems, CD ROM/CDR/RW, Upgrades, E-mail, Database Management, Desk-Top Publishing, Graphics, Imaging, Desktop Presentation Systems, Network Security, TEMPEST/Hardware Security, UPS/Surge Protectors/Conditioners, Data Security/Encryption, Video Teleconferencing.
