Fort Hood 7/20/01 There will be an ON-SITE Technology Exposition hosted by and at Fort Hood on Friday, July 20, 2001. The event will be promoted to the 1st Cavalry Division, 4th Infantry Division, HQ Command III Corps, 3d Personnel Group, 3d Signal Brigade, 13th Corps Support Command, Medical Support Activity and the Army Operational Test Command Some of the requested technologies for this highly technical location include: Communications Equipment, Video Teleconferencing, Laptops/Notebooks, Mass Storage Devices, Multimedia, Networking Applications, Internet, Printers, CAD/CAM, Projection Systems, Real-Time Applications, Document Management, Network Security, Encryption, LAN/WAN Integration, Hardware/Software. Fort Hood is the largest active-duty armored post in the United States. Over 41,000 active duty personnel and 3,500 civilians are located at Ft. Hood.
