Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items = prepared in accordance with the format in the FAR, Subpart 12.6, as = supplemented with additional information included in this notice. = Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be = issued. Solicitation F1WC11113505 is issued as a Request for Quote = (RFQ). This synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions = and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition = Circular (FAC) 97-26 and Defense Acquisition Circular (DAC) 91-13. The = North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 323118 = with a size standard of 500 employees. This procurement has been = set-aside for Small Businesses. Tyndall AFB plans to procure 2000 each = Polyethylene 6-ring black binders, with each binder able to contain 5? = X 8? sheets of paper. Offerors shall provide the following: Black = polyethylene .075 crush grain 6-ring binder with heat scored spine = hinges. Binders must have 1 ?? capacity; spacing for the rings is as = follows: 1? space, ring, ?? space, ring, ?? space, ring, 3? space, = ring, ?? space, ring, ?? space, ring, 1? space. Rings must be mounted = on the spine and include exposed rivets, a slide lock on the base ring = mechanism, and with no opening and closing boosters. The front of the = binder is to be screen printed with the title, ?USAF TECHNICAL MANUAL? = and will be centered across the top of the binder with the 95th FS logo = printed/centered underneath. A picture of the 95th FS logo is attached = to this synopsis/solicitation. Warranty: The contractor or = manufacturer?s standard commercial warranty shall apply. Responsibility = and Inspection: the supplier is responsible for the performance of all = inspection requirements and Quality Control. Offerors must submit a = technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail = to evaluate compliance with this solicitation. This may include, but is = not limited to, product literature, pictures and schematics of the = binders, and terms of expressed warranties. A sample binder with = screen-printing from a previous work may be requested. Place of = delivery and acceptance for the binders will be 95th FS/CCR, Bldg. 209, = Tyndall AFB, FL 32403, Attention SSgt David McMillan. The required = delivery date is 23 July 2001. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, = Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (NOV 1999) is hereby = incorporated by reference. Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-2, = Evaluation Commercial Items (JAN 1999) is hereby incorporated by = reference. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from = this synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote is = conforming to the synopsis/solicitation and will be the most = advantageous to the Government.
