Description

This solicitation is issued as an anticipated purchase of a Brand Name or Equal acquisition. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-26. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and no written solicitations will be issued. The solicitation number is 549-01-RFQ-145 and the NAICS Code is 421450 (size 100 employees). The contracting activity located at the VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS), 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas, Tx. 75216, requires the procurement of a Brand Name or Equal (RESPIRONICS) BIPAP S/TD Vision Units, which includes: (4) Model 73-582059 Bipap Vision Units with all standard features or equal; (4) Model 73-582064 Bipap Vision Stand Assemblies with all standard features or equal; and (1) Refurbished Bipap Vision Unit, Model 73-582059 with all standard features or equal, which will also have the same warranty coverage as a new machine. Also, the VANTHCS will be trading in 5 used Bipap Vision Units, Model 73-582059 machines for the procurement of the previous items. Pricing to include all shipping charges (FOB Destination). This solicitation incorporates by reference FAR Clauses and Provisions, FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and addenda (52.214-21, 52.227-19, 52.233-2, 52.233-3, and 852.270-4).
